I'm wondering if the Screw Your Neighbor Leagues Created by Beernoser in the baseball sim) could come to the basketball sim.
It would work something like this:


47 million salary, no clones, ww, or rookies.


In rounds1-5, players would conduct a serpentine draft of players, filling a starting five.


In round six, each team owner would screw a neighbor- specifically, thay would select a player off a team and he would be burned, gone, finis. This is the Dagger Round.

In round seven, each team owner would select a player, specific to year, and place him on another team, and that team MUST use him in the starting roster. This is the "Love Your Buddy" round.


Obviously, once a team loses a player he is done losing players, and once he gets his special gift from another team, he need accept no more.


Like I said, screw your neighbor, and frankly, I'd pay to have certain managers in this league.

Well I didn't expect this much interest this fast.

Let me make an amendment to the rules- you must use at least a 2500 minute season from your 1st five round draft picks. This prevents people from drafting a bench and saying "come on, screw me".
 
And be sure you understand the myriad of possibilities here. Lets say you draft a great front court, some one comes by and and daggers your point guard, and some one in the Love Your Buddy round notices and gives you an 11 mil $ Center. Well tough, you have to play the guy (or at least roster him) and you have to play a 2500 minute season from your drafted center. And that just illustrates the concept of "Screw Your Neighbor" - not just giving somebody a bad player, you really trry to harm the other guy's franchise.

Believe me, trying to find that one perfect player to demolish another team is as much fun, if not more, than trying to find that one perfect player to complete your own team.
