Depth Chart Problems..... Topic

My team is very interesting this year to say the least.

Aside from defense lacking (I'm relatively new to the game and didn't know about FSS, scouting trips, etc., until last season), my team has a problem: Lack of depth at the guard spots.

Anyone have suggestions on what they would do with my squad when it comes to setting a depth chart? Thanks!

start bradford 1 and hudson 2.  Popham backs them both up.  Those are all your guards that should play.  Good luck .... hope they dont foul out... although i made it to the elite 8 once with 3 guards only... so its possible.

thanks for the quick response!

that's what i was leaning towards, just wasn't sure how much playing time popham would get

should i go fatigue or target minutes with this squad?

I would bring Hudson off the bench, but hes right only play 3 gaurds because thats really all you have. Also play slow down to keep your starters fresh.

PG: Bradford/Hudson/
SG: Popham/Cox
SF: Sinclair/(empty)/Cox/West
PF: Eidson/Zumwalt/Pasley
C:   Reed/Zumwalt/Klein

Use fatigue, set the starting guards at tired or getting tired.  Cox at GT. Rest at FF. Definitely run slowdown.
Put your guards on more aggressive for fouls too. Can't have them sitting with 2 fouls while the engine randomly finds players to sub in when the other guards pass out from exhaustion.
