Guys, I will make no bones about it, my long time goal is a team in the Big East.  Going into my third season at Austin Peay (Phelan), and it looks like again I do not qualify for the job I have.

I am not "Qualified" for anything.  However I have another question sparked by the "job" categories.  I know there are Two Classes at D1....Elite, and eveything else.  If my desire is a job in an elite conference such as the Big East, can I get it by having Long Term sucess here, or are there more than two "steps/levels" of D1 programs, and must go somewhere else first?

It's certainly possible to go from where you are to the Big East.  But you will need some success (NT berths) before you can get anywhere.

As far as the levels of D1, you need to learn about baseline prestige.  Search the forums for it and come back with any questions.
