I just got the funniest email from a recruit...

Yeah, I know it's been around for a long time, and I've seen it before.  Here's what I'm wondering.

I dont' think I've ever lost a recruit after getting the SHH Bang email or the 16 pound balls email.  Has anyone else?  Do those emails mean you're a sure thing?

Yes, I have. It's probably most possible at DI where teams can dump enormous amounts of cash all of a sudden and poach.

It does mean you are winning by a lot, but at D1, poachers can spend $50k on a guy.
