100 Rating Pitching Coach at ML level Topic

Will he help the squad pitch better during the season?  Or just help them progress as much as they can during the season?

I.E, all things being equal, is a 100 rated pitching coach worth half a run in team ERA or what?

Coaches only impact development, not game play.

So if, say a pitcher has the knuckleball for his main pitch, that would get better?

I've been told and read that types of pitches don't matter. IE Fastball, Curve, Knuckle are all just names and one doesn't perform better than any other.

Pitchers who have development time left will see more growth with a 100 coach than with a lesser one. The growth could come in pitch ratings, control, GB/FB or splits. If I had a pitcher(s) at AAA I'm expecting to be in the majors next season, I'd consider promoting him after 20 games so he takes advantage of that coach's rating.
