Hey Coach. Sorry I didn't take your call - I've been really busy lately. From what I know of the program, it may be something I'd be interested in, but I'd really like to learn a lot more about the school, conference and your coaching philosophy.


Do I continue to pursue the kid?  Or is he too much of a long shot?

Also what does this one mean?

 

I'll be honest here buddy -- I think we have better opportunities elsewhere. (player's name here) sounded only moderately interested - at best.

both only mean that the player doesn't need to be pulled or wait to drop - that he is recruitable now. The actual messages don't mean much (if anything). Both should respond to more effort, assuming no one else is pulling them in a different direction simultaneously
