Following up on (player), I couldn't get past him mom. I mean she didn't even know who we were. Maybe a background letter/packet from you would help us get in the door?

I've never seen this response before. I sent a phone call to a player in the above division and got this. Is he recruitable now, or a definite no? thanks in advance

If you sent a phone call and got that it means move on he is not interested. I've never read that exact response before but I can't fathom anyway it means you are a backup option.

That means he's recruitable now.  Any time they suggest a specific recruiting action (packet, call, HV, CV) it means you can recruit the guy.  Actually, almost every time anybody posts a thread asking "what does this recruiting message mean" it means the guy is recruitable.  And that is the case here yet again...
