Academic Non Qualifier recruit Topic

I signed an ineligible player, first time doing so, and am wondering if it makes a difference how I allocate his practice minutes.

Do I pump them all into SH, or does that not even matter? Or will he make at least some small gains if I distribute his minutes heavily into a few key areas?

I'm in Division II, FYI - thanks for any advice

all in SH, can't improve on anything else

Just hope that he shows up.  Sometimes they go JUCO at the last minute and you're stuck with a walk-on.  If that happens, though, you still get the carrryover recruiting money.
You can still pursue him next season and, possibly, he'll be considering you from the first cycle.  But he could've moved hundreds of miles away, also.

Thanks, he showed up. I'll pump sh, he's a 2.17 gpa too so he can only go up right?

I give them 80-85 minutes, whatever's left over after the OFF and DEF practice. I've never had a player not qualify for the next season

give him every minute other than what is used in team practice - so long as you are not doing some crzy high level of team practice, he will qualify for next season - may need a few more study hall mins than normal as a soph

note for next season - his playing time expectations will be those of a SOPH not a FR, so he will want 8-10 mins or thereabouts
