How much would my loyalty or reputation drop if I cut a player I signed last season?  Both are A+ right now.

Its your rep, and it would drop to A-/B+ range depending on how high a A+ you are

Quick question in a related vein, when you cut a player during recruiting, do you get recruiting money for the newly opened slot? You would think for as long as I've played the game I would know this. I always assumed you just freed up a roster spot, but didn't get any recruiting cash for it.

No, you do not get more money for the newly created slot.  In Gridiron Dynasty you do, but in Hoops Dynasty you don't.  It would be nice if WIS had a little consistency there.
