Need help!! Cut Payne or not? Topic

http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8769 I can't decide if I want to cut Oliver Payne, I run the triangle, man to man, and right now he's probably going to end up as 3rd string SF, and also get some time in at SG, he has great speed, athleticism, defense, BH, and A- IQ's but I just don't know if he can help on the offensive end. Or should or should I just keep him around for when I play teams with a tough 2 guard?? I have a decent amount of recruiting money and I've got a it itchy trigger finger right now, help please!!

he's graduating after this season and he definitely has good value as a D3 defender at the 2 or 3 or even as a 3rd or 4th option at the 1.  he wont do a ton offensively but he shouldnt turn it over much and he can make a free throw if he goes tot he line.  you only get to play with 1 ball so you don't really need 5 guys on the floor that want to shoot it every time down the court.

id definitely keep him

He plays pretty good defense, actually your best backcourt defender. Why cut him?

duece.... That guy you have, IMO, is a no doubt keeper. He is a player who will never hurt you by being in the game and I would probably give him a lot of playing time as a backup, maybe even a starter. I value defense more than anything in a player so I may be biased, but I'm shocked you want to cut him.

I agree with the guys above.  Keep him, he's a solid player.
