This will be the official thread for the D3 Phelan Shootout XXXIV, played during Season 40. 

All Shooutout XXXIII participants will be guaranteed a spot in Shootout XXXIV, as long as you desire to continue.

If you are interested in joining us, a great group of coaches with competitive teams, please post here or sitemail me. ALSO DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY NON-CONFERENCE GAMES IN SLOT 3-10, in order to fit the tourney games.

I hope to have the schedule out before Exhibition games start to avoid any scheduling problems.
Please let me know if anyone in the tourney has moved on or up.

We are glad to welcome point_piper's team the Amherst Lord Jeffs(I had to look that up) to the shootout. A very solid team can come in a beat some teams fast just like Trinity-CT and H'Berg in the last couple seasons.

Thanks, looking forward to it, and yes there are lots of unique nicknames in the NESCAC.  For example you don't want to miss it when the Jumbos (Tufts) throw down with the Polar Bears (Bowdoin).
