The Western Athletic Conference (who can keep up with it!)  has added a 10th team in Texas-Arlington, which is leaving the Southland.

The WAC just lost Boise St. and will lose Fresno, Nevada and Hawaii next summer.   They've added Denver, Seattle, Texas-San Antonio, and Texas St.-San Marcos.  Existing members are Idado, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico St., San Jose St., and Utah St.

The WAC has only 7 football playing schools but is hoping that Texas-Arlington will revive it's program. Its the 2nd largest school in the Texas system.  Rumor is that there's an open invitation until 2014 for Montana, Montana St., and Cal Poly to join the WAC.
