I just took over a d-ii team that was coached by sim for the past few (19) seasons. one of the juniors started all games his fresh and soph seasons (approx 18 mins per game). http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=1879884  entering his junior season, his we is 2. i think that if this was a human coach, even if the we started at a 1, the we would have jumped to at least a ten, right? i know there's not much difference between 2 and 10 in terms of player improvement, but is the low increase indicative that his we won't be increasing over the next two seasons? 

Pretty much.  But even with a human coach, a guy that starts with a WE of 1 isn't getting much higher than that.  It's as bad as it gets.

if you think about it, that's a pretty massive increase. 1 to  2 is 100%. That's akin to someone going from 45 to 90!

The 1 WE player I recruited a while back at Rochester ended his career with a WE of 1.  Granted, he never started.  But he got decent minutes all 4 years and never even climbed to 2.
