Can someone please provide a link to a previous topic / thread on what ratings are important when evaluating talent? I have searched but came up empty I keep hearing that the overall rating can be misleading. Thank u in advance.

Have a look at the league leaders board in your world (or any world).  The players who are doing the best statistically tend to have good ratings.
