signed up for simdynasty just to check it out. if anyone who has played it before could tell me what the hell im that would be appreciated. i dont want to leave HBD and im not bailing on any teams, but it seems like now might be a good time to at least explore other options.

I have used simdynasty for about 4 years or so, if you want to sitemail me, I can answer any questions for you.  Great site, unfortunately though, it doesnt hold a candle to HBD

APBA manI  I lived and breathed that 35+ years ago.  In '74-'75 I replayed the entire NL '71 season.  Pitt. Pirates and SF were awesome. Sanguillan hit .352 to lead the league and Stargell and Aaron chased each other for the homer mark.  I think Willie ended up hitting 48 to beat Aaron by 2.

then i did a random redraft and replayed anotgher entire season.  APBA man.  Seeeeeeeet!

Hours and hours and hours.  I credit APBA with being the single greatest thing that got me into numbers/statistics.  Great game.  The original simulation engine.

My son has been bugging me to let him play HBD.  Sure do wish I still had my APBA for him to learn stats with.  That game was awesome!
