The Build Your Own Progessive: Year 1

Want to get in on year one of a new progressive?  There have been different versions of building your own progressive and this unique progressive pits eras versus eras, teams versus teams as your build your own progressive team, advancing one year at a time.  The "Build Your Own" part: Take any historical team, that is your core.  We then have a league wide draft that is based on that team's W/L %.  The league will have 6 different eras, with four division representing each era.  Do you take a winner and add some key parts or try and turn a loser into a winner?   

Cap: $160 Million
Ballparks: Any ballpark used during your era
DH: None
AAA: None
Draft Picks: Max 7 per year (applicable after Year 1)
IR: Yes, no limit (especially for war era teams)
Injuries: No
Live: Current series only, not required
Years: 1885-2010 with only one instance of any given year-can't have two 1901 teams
Player occurences: One
Trades: No
Draft: No trading of draft slots or picking ahead, even if the team ahead of you can't take them.  Just stay in your slot.
Progression:1 year forward
1st Year Exception: If you don't have enough players to meet your percentage pick you will replace the # of players you are short with $500K or less players from your given year

First year is based on your core team's winning percentage and the second year it is up to the owner, with a maximum of 7 picks

For year one there are no IR.  IR is only used for players without a WIS season that year (think the war era players).  mac will be able to have A-Rod, but he would be a bench player year 1.
