How should I game plan Topic

Ok I been pretty much playing musical chairs with my game planning. But being preseason ranked #4 and getting blown 59-97 to an opponent who was ranked about the same as me, I give up. Maybe my team was overrated because my bench is super thick and it only looked at the starters. Regardless, can you help me and tell me what is the 'optimal' strategy for a team in my situation. How fatigue/# of min should my players have, what tempo, etc...

figure out what def you're playing and dump 25 minutes into it. your iq's are horrendous. unless you're playing against m2m and either wilhoit and googe is lined up against players much better than them, they should be set @ 22-25 dist, each. same logic, smith can get 15-18; maybe more depending on the matchup.

against wisconsin, his team plays uptempo fcp successfully every game (even with the tiny, 2 game sample size). i would have either adjusted to uptempo as well, or i would have slowed it down. the latter strategy works suprising well bc it keeps your starters in to be matched up against his backups.

i'm sure some more successful coaches will / can chime in with better advice, but those are my 2 cents. good luck this season!
