Pick a 2011 franchise and use as many players off of that franchise

For every player you keep from your chosen franchise you will lose a pick in the draft (draft pick you lose depends on salary) plus the next pick in the draft if you keep more than one player. See example below.

Salary and pick lost
6mil +   1st round
5mil +   2nd round
4mil+   3rd round
3mil + 4th round
Any Salary up to 3mil  5th round

Example (1)
I take the Brewers and keep 12 players. I will lose the first 12 picks and 1 extra so I will not be able to draft till round 14
Example (2)
I take the Blue Jays and keep Jose Bautista 6mil+ Salary  you would lose your 1st round pick only
Example (3)
I take the Pirates and keep Andrew McClutchen 5mil+ salary and Joel Hanrahan 2 mil salary I would lose 2nd round pick (mcClutchen) 5th round (Hanrahan) and a 6th round for keeping more than 1 player.

Players out of the draft

If you took the brewers and kept 12 players, why would you lose the first 12 picks?  What if all the players were 3 mil and under? Thought it all depends on the salary of the guys you keep?

Yes it depends on salary I was assuming that  Braun, Fielder, Gallardo, Marcum, Hart, etc will cover the 6 mil, 5mil, 4mil spots.

This will mostly be a draft league. I am just giving owners the opportunity to secure some of their favorite players off of their favorite team. If you are a dodger fan do you give up your first 3 picks for Kemp and Kershaw? If you want Safco field you may keep no one and just go straight draft with what is left over. Just trying to give you a chance to secure your favorite players.
