I have a scrub who is demanding extra PT. I was already considering cutting him before recruiting next season, but he has told me that if he doesn't get more PT (which he won't) then he'll be looking to transfer. If he transfers do I lose less in reputation than if I cut him? Or is it the same?

If he transfers, you'll get the money for his scholly - if you cut him, you won't.  So it's a much better result for you if he transfers.

did you recruit him? either way better if he transfers, but no guarantee he quits even if he keeps whining. Of course you could still then cut him...

How do you make them transfer. I have a JR who has only played 2 games and a total of 6 min, with -15 WE 17 games in. Any chance he's going to leave?

see if you can't get one of the other kids on the team to sleep with his gf or mom...that seems to work irl

It's basically luck.

If you want the kid to transfer... he stays ... if you want him to stay he transfers.

I got lucky I just had a guy who I was going to cut because he was going to be 3rd on the depth chart for 4 seasons but he transfered after his sophomore year

I had a guy tell me he was going to transfer at the end of the season and he came back :(

Most do.

too bad you can't just sort of submit them to the draft a year early as a surprise going away present kind of like what Boeheim (maybe) did with Paul Harris...
