LF, RF where do you put your second best OF? Topic

I've seen this question asked and answered before, but I'm still not convinced either way.  I'm talking about range, and of course the WIS engine and not real baseball.

LF make more Sim plays than RF when the opposing lineup is mostly Righties.

I usually go with RF. But it also depends on the batter and pitcher matchups.

Usually in LF.

Should the player with the most assists go in RF since he has long throws to 3rd base? Or does that not factor into the sim?

As far as I know assists aren't factored.

Correct, assists don't matter at all (except as they contribute to range)

If I'm feeling less lazy than usual I'll move them around based on the team I'm playing.  Otherwise I just check whether my division is left-hand or right-hand dominant and align my outfield accordingly.
