I am new to HBD and just took over an abandoned team.  I have been reading as much as I can in the forums and one of the things I read was to ask before doing anything.

So I am asking...

A guy on the waiver wire caught my eye.  He has 99 power and 99 vs RH, but bad defense and about 15 contact and 15 vs LH.  He is only 59K and has 1 option left.  I was thinking he might be a good pinch hitter / DH type.

How do I put a link in here to his profile?

On the bottom of his player card, near the left edge should be a button with a black background and the letters WiS. Click that, then look for the same button in the toolbar when adding to this thread.

Personally I would make a waiver claim on him if I needed a guy to hit righties.  At the very least, you can stash him in AAA and call him up if you need help at the big league level.
