This progressive began with the 1969 season. We are currently playing the 1979 season, which is season eleven.

RULES
  • 1100 IP minimum at all times during the season.
  • Team name must be of the format 'City Nickname'. You may make up a Nickname, but keep the proper city for your franchise.
  • AAA - 6 Pos/2 P (below average)
  • Use the proper stadium for your team.
  • You must keep 15 active players from year to year unless more than 10 people retire or go to IR. IR is unlimited.
  • Draft order is worst-to-first, with a 4-team lotto for the top slots. The first round order remains throughout the draft.****
  • Salary is the tiebreaker for teams with same number of wins when constructing the draft order. Lower salary = better pick.
  • Failure to hit 40 wins by game 120 bumps you to 5th in the next draft.
  • Don't tank.
  • Teams are subject to last place in the draft or dismissal for tanking. Play like gentleman.
  • Trades - may trade draft picks, one season in advance
  • Draft order is determined after 120 games played
  • Keeper lists are due before the 141st game
  • If you keep 21 active players, you will be assigned 4 draft picks
  • Draft will be officially on the clock, the day our playoffs begin. If playoffs start on weekend, we will hold off until Monday.
  • Get your roster loaded, when league number is announced. No slackers please and thanks.

  • Beginning with the 1981 draft, there will be a three tier lotto.
  • Picks 1-8 (the 8 teams with the fewest wins after 120 games)
  • Picks 9-16 (the 8 teams with the 9th thru 16th fewest wins after 120 games)
  • Picks 17-24 (the 8 teams with the most wins after 120 games)

games, into the 1979 season.
Keeper list for the 1980 draft is before game 141,
Draft order is set.

As with my other leagues, the draft has begun off the clock.
No delays between seasons in my commished leagues.
