I just took over a terrible Nebraska team in a stacked Big 12 conference.  Looking for advise on how to rebuild, no chance I compete in conference until I build up some recruits.  Should I schedule a weak pre conference with a bunch of sims on the road since the conference is so tough or should I continue to schedule a tough OOC schedule?

Any other advise?

I haven't been in D1 in a while, but if you're looking at a terrible conerence record, I would keep my non-confeernce schedule light and fluffy.

Generally, regardkess how your roster is, you want to schedule the toughest teams you can beat. You want to go 10-0 in nonconf.
