As many of you long time players know live is not played on an even playing field. Many of the old-timers have "The Code".

Just as I refuse to suicide squeeze I refuse to use "The Code" (and my record shows it!).

Yet I think it is time to let everyone in on "The Code". This will help some of the owners who never win.

"The Code" is very simple.

1.If you are the home team before your team bats type ( %oftwist69). This allows you to have an advantage when hitting.
2.If you are the road team after your team bats type (%ofthick69). This allows you to have an advantage when pitching.
3.If you suspect your opponent is also using "The Code" type (***flickoff). This voodoo jinxes your foe and makes him unable to concentrate on the game and makes him take on a sort of Ron Washington managerial style.

Any questions?

I dont think its a big deal Szcz spilt beans.  Those are the first 3 you reach, by the time those who dont know about it reach the rating to use them they would of known about them.  and he didnt mention what happens when you use the flick and your opponent isnt using codes.

well i know for a fact that the polo grounds is not an even playing field. the outfield slopes downward away from the batter's box at such an angle that the manager could only see the top half of the outfielders. at the wall, the outfield was 8 feet below the batter's box.
