LPBL 1997 League/Draft Rules
No salary cap
Below Average AAA
No DH, but players listed as DHs are alllowed to be drafted. They must play a position in league games though.
30 game H2H requirement to be playoff-eligible for ALL teams
30 game H2H requirement by game 120 to be eligible for randomization within the top-6 draft pick bracket
35 win minimum by game 120 required for all teams to be eligible for randomization within the top-6 draft pick bracket
Teams in the top 6 bracket not meeting the 30 Live game min or 35 win min by game 120 will be slotted at the bottom of that bracket.
-No limit on keepers
-Unweighted Lotto for top 6 draft picks, remainder of teams seeded by record at game 120
-Draft is straight/non-serpentine, 1-24, 1-24 etc...
-Draft order set at game 120
-Players that miss a sim season can be put on the DL so you can save them for when they return.
-Trades allowed during the draft or at any point during the off-season.
-Each team must have between 1100 and 1800 IP
-Offseason trades may be posted in the draft forum once at least 12 team rosters have been entered for next season.
-There is no maximum # of players you can have on your roster at each position.
- Teams that wish to move to a vacant stadium may do so, pending 1 year advance notice and commissioner approval.
