I am about 10 games into the season. And I have a bunch of guys I would like to move up the ranks in the minor leagues. Is there a way to play it so they end getting an extra bonus? Or in the end will all the player get the same amout of bonuses?

Anyone know at what game mark the bonuses come?

"There really is no such thing as a "boost" for a promotion.

During the season you will see ratings increase, and the player card rating lines will read:
Spring training
Regular season
Regular season
etc.
These can be thought of as "snapshots in time" IOW, the player may increase 2 or 3 points between "snapshots", but you don't see the one point increases until the "snapshot" takes place, when you will see he's gained 3 since the last "snapshot"

So when you promote a player and see a ratings increase, it is simply another "snapshot", titled "promotion". You would have seen the same increase had you not promoted, and in fact if you promote right after a "snapshot" occurance, you will see no increase at all.. "

I see you've found it, but one thing I will add is that if you move a player from a level that has not made the playoffs to a level that has, the player will get an additional bump for playing in the playoffs.

I don't think its necessarily for playing in the playoffs but its simply extra games.

so promoting a guy during the pre-season (after coaches are set) is no different than promoting a guy mid-season?
