I have played there games so far with Nebraska Wesleyan and here are the results...

Has anyone seen a sequence of games like this? It seems a little ridiculous that my teams continues to go to OT because teams are hitting tying shots with a few  seconds left.

Had a team once that had something like 12+ OT periods during the regular season.

If it makes you feel any better, I was game one against you and in my third game I had a double OT loss.   My opponent MISSED game winning shots at the end of regulation and then again at the end of the 1st OT.   He crushed me in the 2nd OT.

It's unusual, but certainly not outside the realm of plausibility. I had a D3 team play into OT in 8 of 26 regular season games one year.

I do think the pace of play once one team is in quick shot mode needs addressed a little. Seems like teams are able to instantaneously cover the length of the floor with very little time coming off the clock to chuck up shots or track the opposing team down for intentional fouls, but the frequency of buzzer shots going in has never tripped an alarm in my head.

Real life season records from NCCA.com shows 3 teams with 8 overtime games in a season. Western Kentucky in 1978, Portland in 1984 and Valparasio in 1993. While I am at it, interesting to note that Cincinnati beat Bradley in 7 overtimes in 1981.

I now have back to back DOUBLE OVERTIME losses......nice....

I had one unusual game;

1) My opponent hit a 3 at the buzzer to force OT
2) My opponent hit a 3 at the buzzer to force a 2nd OT
3) My opponent hit at 3 at the buzzer to force a 3rd OT
4) I won in the 4th OT
