DH and fatigue Topic

So if fatigue impacts defense only if I draft a guy with 200 PA and use him exclusively as a dh the whole season his fatigue level would be extreme. Should I expect no degradation of his output due to fatigue levels or can I expect his output to be hurt by the fatigue. I know I would risk injury but as I understand it would be for 1 game. If his fatigue level got down to say 10% would I expect injury every time he was used as a dh thus rendering him useless?

Fatigue doesn't impact defense only.  Expect high degradation of his output at the plate.

yup,,,,except for walks, I don't think fatigue has a serious negative impact on a batters ability to draw a walk.

He will not hit well. And yes, if you have injuries on, he'll probably get hurt in the first PA of every game once he gets down to 10-20 percent.

I've tanked a DH before and he stayed pretty healthy compared to position players in the red. If I remember correctly he would even make it through most games. I just set his sac bunt setting to 5 and hoped for the best.

does this mean that the 1908 Sammy Strang - 85 PA, 5 hits and 23 BB could basically DH foreve and have a good OBP?

Well, he won't have a good OBP because he won't ever get a hit but I wouldn't be surprised if he draw 120ish walks if he had 600 PA.

I have been meaning to test this but haven't found a league to do so yet.   If there is 40 million cap league with a DH I'll do it.

I was thinking about testing this in a progressive league I'm in but now it seems testing it would be a bad idea...

The 400 PA Sammy is my boy.  He's a hitting machine.
