I am a DII coach and more than likely getting a transfer from a DIII school... He is going to have to sit a year isn't he? :/ But will he still get to practice and improve?

Oh really?  I thought if it was a transfer up or equal they had to sit out a year... but a transfer down they could play.  Thanks for the info!! :)

Transfer plays right away.

For an ineligible though, they sit out a year and don't improve. They can play right away at DIII however.

That's good.  Cause I have a transfer coming from D3 to my D2, and he seems to be a player
