Draft Help- #2 overall (unprotected pick) Topic

I am sitting at #2 with an unprotected pick.  Who should I go with?  I am seeing these guys with 20mill in Coll scouting. Thanks

Sp #1  21yo  “May sign if the deal is right” How big of deal is the “May Sign”?  50/50  80/20  could ask for 10+mill?

SP  #2  21yo  "Looking to sign"  Love his numbers fear his health

Current     -   5-10   180   61   18   7   78   54   21   20   34   17   38   72   68
Projected -   5-11    193   83   22   9   91   80   82   20   37   17   50   73   77

Current     -   74   65   57   60   76   72   71   64   35   38
Projected -   90   91   79   90   92   82   85    73   45   56

I also have the 7th pick. But it looks to be a big drop off for that pick. Maybe Sp#2 drops because of his low health.

It's kinda hard to tell, but the first player is a RP correct? if so, not worth a #2 pick

I don't like that MIF at all, especially for #2 pick. And that SP scares the @#$% out of me.

Are these the only players you see worth anything?

Also, I've never seen a "May sign" guy ask for 10 mil+, usually they double their initial demands

I think player 1 has 69 stamina and is projected at 68 stamina.   That doesn't make much sense but he's the obvious choice IMO.

Player two falls in the not quite a SS category.   And his bat doesn't carry 3B.

Whats an unprotected pick mean?
If you mean its a comp pick from last season then it is still a protected pick and you can still draft a high risk player.
As ong as you dont mind getting the #3 next season.

Only TYPE A/B Comp picks become unprotected.  Comp picks that originate from a natural draft pick remain protected no matter how many seasons you recycle it down the line.

SP #1 by a mile.  He'll sign, though he may reject you in favor of going back to college.  Just offer him his intial demands again, eventually he'll agree to sign for a higher than slot asking price.

I have a RP with identical health to SP #2:

Tom Stone

Has never went on the DL, I've had 20 training/16 health while hes been on my roster... maybe hope that SP#2 falls to you at #7

I guess I should not of had alll the numbers listed. The number people were looking at was his Push/Pull number. The Stam for SP#1 is 66-80 so he is a SP.
