I am currently a B- D2 team, the recruit is a sophomore transfer and he is 50 miles from me and he is 870 miles from a C D1 prestige school. How much of a factor does the distance play, is that outweighed by the difference between D2 and D1?

I still think you are at a disadvantage. Most recruits would rather play at D1 far from home that D2 close to home. Did he give you the backup message?

Yes he did give me the backup, now he says I need to do some selling to get him... however before I was competing against Idaho, now Alabama is on his considering list... I am officially out of the running.
