Player 1's defense is the obvious setback. But do you think his PER/BH/PASS outweighs Player 2's superior ATH/DEF?

Player 2. I would never sacrifice ATH and DEF for just about anything.

Player 1 might score a lot of points, but I'd be willing to bet he'll give up enough points on defense to negate that.

Player 2, player 1's DEF would more than negate any offensive output he would provide.

For guys who play zone D, would you have taken the chance on player 1? I play press as well, and thats why I know player 2 is the better fit, but just wondering if he was playing zone, what you guys would say?

I wouldn't. He still hurts your defense, even if the zone is better at "hiding" bad defenders than the other defenses. It becomes 5-on-4 on the defensive end with him.

at D 3 I set my search parameters to >20, so I'd never see him. I guess 20 is too little
