Want an opportunity to build a team from scratch? Topic

Lincoln in the Heartland conference in D2 Iba (hands down the toughest D2 world there is) has ALL TWELVE schollies open for this next class.  If you are in Iba and want a challenge, check it out.  You can change offense/defense and it won't matter.  All 12 guys are learning from scratch.  The team has 11 SRs and 1 walkon.  We have 8 human coaches in the Heartland and it is a very competitive conference (3 of our coaches have taken their teams to the Final Four in the past 4 seasons).  This is a very unique opportunity to build from scratch and obviously a unique recruiting challenge since you can only sign 6 FR and the rest would have to be transfers or JUCOs.  I would love to see someone take on this challenge and then track their progress.

Guys, this is a great conference with great coaches. You will not regret coming.

My first season here at West Florida, and these guys were great. Helpful, competitive, and VERY active in the CC. That's what I look for in a good conference, and I don't think there is a better one out there.

Looks like a returning coach has reserved Lincoln as it is not showing up in the available jobs.  As an alternative, Montevallo has 8 open schollies fo a coach looking for a challenge in a very active conference.  Montevallo hasn't been human coached since season 17 and its only NT wins (3 of them) were in season 1.  This one is a blank slate for a coach wanting a challenge.
