Any chance this man retires after this season?  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Vic Baez  I just took over the franchise and there are several of these aged guys on this roster.  Baez is signed for three seasons at 9 mil per.  Do they all just stick around to collect the money?

We need to get an Amnesty Clause ala the NBA this year where I can release one player from his contract with no penalty.  Either that or I shouldn't take over teams that will take until 2013 before I can even get the payroll under control.  There are at least 5 guys who either are falling apart, fell apart a while ago, or will fall apart before their current deals expire that are on this team.

I'm sure you're allowed to look at teams before you take them.    If you don't like the players or the contracts, find another team.  There isn't a shortage of worlds out there that need owners.

Which is why I said I shouldn't take over teams that look like this as the second option in my previous post.  If everyone looked at this messed up team and passed them over for a better situation how would the world ever fill?
