DI recruiting question Topic

I am a DI team with C- prestige. I am recruiting a player from 340 miles.  A DI Sim with a D- prestige is also recruiting him.  The sim has 9 open spots, but currently  has only 4 players considering.  How much cash or how much effort would I have to have to land this recruit?

need to know if he is primary for sim or not. find out from FSS report. If very tight, can still be done, but takes more effort - depending on the recruit maybe more than its worth.

Turns out he is a "very high priority" for them.  How much does that translate to, roughly?  From my distance, could I get him for 25-30 thousand?  Or are we talking a lot more?

It's still hard to know. Could be that much, could be a good amount less.

There is only one way to find out (that tootsie roll lollipop commercial with the owl comes to mind)

Id drop one cycle of 10 HV, 10 evals and 1 CV a few calls and letters.... should total about 8 thousand.... and see how many licks it takes to get to the center of the pop ;)

moy, nice job making recruiting sound vaguely pornographic.

I am waiting a few more cycles before I know if I can engage in this battle.  This recruit will totally be worth the battle, but I need to make sure some other openings are secure.

That's actually one of the few things the NCAA hasn't investigated me for: licking recruits.

Top priority, I have sank 30 at C against D (I sent 45, only 30 got accepted) HV and not made it to the considered list, at which point, I gave up. Not sure if this helps but it's some information.
