It is my opinion that Oliva, Oropesa, and Flores, who are constitutionally my best starters, are among my worst pitchers per inning pitched. My current plan is to use the top 4 guys in stamina and Bryant in a 5-man rotation with short pitch counts and, for most of them, quick-hook pull ratings. But I wonder if a 3-man tandem using McGee, Stahl, Governale, Bryant, Hines, and Truman, with Valentin as a two-inning closer and the others in low-leverage roles, wouldn't be better allocation of innings in general and high-leverage innings in particular. Thoughts on whether there's enough DUR/ST on this staff for that to work? I can also sign or promote a solid 60-70 IP 20-stamina reliever and run 12 pitchers if that helps.
