Adv Roster Edit For EVERYONE Topic

I dont see why it is a privilege to be able to use the advanced roster edit. It should be for everyone, just cause I have 1 one completed season doesnt mean I dont know how to play the game or dont deserve to have an easier time.

What is the reasoning for the 3 season rule?

The thought behind it is that if you have to go through multiple screens to do each transaction, you'll read the text on each confirmation screen and get a better understanding of the implications of your transactions.

It can be a pain but it definitely makes sense. Mistakes are always made in this game and they are far more likely to be made by newer owners. It is kind of like how if you take an accounting class they teach you how to do everything by hand. In the real world, if you were doing such work, there are programs that do that work for you. Nevertheless, it is good to learn how to do something so you can understand it and it will hopefully prevent errors in the future. I hope that makes sense.

Those are the owners you try to deal crappy 6m pitchers to, right?

I'm not really trying to deal him to anyone. I have a bunch of other pitchers I'd rather move...

Wow, so that's why I have the advance roster editor? I thought it was a WIS update :-)

It makes no sense -- except to discourage veteran owners from setting up aliases, which isn't WIS's intent anyway. One season on basic mode, fine. Two-plus, overkill.
