i think i already know the answer to my own question...but do the "position labels" assigned to guys account for anything? it seems to me that i should base where to play guys totally on attributes, but i just want to make sure there isnt something im missing. PFs can play C, PGs can play SG, etc...without any decrease in their "abilities"? And as a follow-up to that...when recruiting...if you guys are searching for a "big man" do you search both PFs and Cs and go after the best available? Anotherwords if your team ends up 5 PFs on the roster or 5 SGs...it doesnt really matter as long as they are able to plug into the C or PG positions attribute wise? thanks in advance for your feedback.

A C coudl play PG without a decrease int heir abilities.  THey woudl likely be a bad PG because the abilities weren't suited, but they wouldn't be any worse than a "PG" with those same abilities.

short answer...........the listed position is just window-dressing. A C can play anywhere on the court w/ the right attributes.
