i have not found much info on durability in the forums. ive only been back playing HD for 2 seasons, and i have yet to see an injury (knock on wood). how important is durability? if a recruit has a DU rating of 10 with average growth, is he a pretty big risk for injury?

I completely ignore DUR.  I'd take a guy with a 1 DUR.  I don't know if DUR affects the chance of injury or, as it was in the past, just the speed with which a player recovers.  I've had a few injuries over the past couple of seasons, but nothing very serious and nothing where a low DUR rating really came into play significantly.

On the other hand, I have had a injury to fifty percent that lasted through the entire non conference season.

In the past thirty or so seasons (five worlds combined), my teams have had two injuries. One guy with a 98 durability broke his ankle and had to sit out for about six games. One guy with durability in the 70s had some other major injury and had to miss two games. I've had several guys with durability under 20 that played four years with no injury.
