I finished my first season at CSU LA and I went 22-9 and lost in the 2nd round of the NT. When I started the year the team prestige was a B-, I thought for sure that after a trip to 2nd round of NT I would move up to a B+.

Am I wrong for thinking I should have gone up more in prestige? I looked back through the team history and see some other times they were coming off a PI trip or no trip to the postseason and then move up to a B+ with a 2nd round NT season.

hmm, i would expect a b+ too. that must be about the lowest b- and highest b possible. i am genuinely surprised though. solid record, solid rpi, and coming off a b-, i would have bet a lot on that b+. my guess if b+ starts at 87, thats an 86.9 or higher. so do well next season and you should get that partial grade back. good luck!

Prestige changes is the single most frustrating part of this game.  But, in your case, it may be correct.  Prestige goes back several seasons. In the previous 6 seasons, you have  no NT bids, and three 1st round PIT losses.

I thought prestige was still only based on the last 4 years. Does prestige go back 10 seasons now as well, or was that just for job applications?

i went to the elite 8 and only got 1/2 a letter grade:

I thought it was a bit low considering my team had 3/4 20+ win seasons plus the E8 finish. But with two 1st round NT bounces and a PI appearance in the past 4 seasons, I think a B+ is fair. This team's 4 season history looks significantly better than yours, so a B is right around where you should be, imho...

EDIT: looking at your team again, i'm not sure that they should have maintained a b- prestige during a stretch of no nt or other post season appearances. your team was likely on the brink of a c+, so factor that in when you look at the 'b' bump.
