What if, two teams in the same division tie for first place in the conference? Identical conference W-L, and split the head to head matchups against one another. How do they figure out the conference champion then?

You're both listed as "conference champion".  I think you can have up to 12 conference champions per conference.  Seriously.

Bowie State, Central/North, Knight:

Both teams will be conference champ. However, the #1 seed in the tournament will be the team with the better overall record. If that is still tied I can't remember what the tie breaker is.
