If anyone is looking for another team, we have 5 openings in the UAA

Hendrix (in Arkansas)
Southwestern (in Texas)
Sawanee (in TN)
Stillman (in Alabama)
Emory (Georgia - in Atlanta)

We have been a top 3-4 conference for while.  (Trying to give the Great NE some more competition, as they have been #1 most seasons lately, but they are essentially full)

Emory was human coached the past 2 seasons and looks to be headed in the right direction.  I have always thought that this school should prosper given a committed coach since it is in a big city.

I won't lie, these other teams need rebuilt.  Southwestern in particular was destroyed a few seasons ago by a lame coach who cut many players and replaced w/ jucos and inferior talent.

If you like the challenge of recruiting in rural area, this is the place for you.  We regularly have 3 teams in the NT, sometimes as many as 4.

Lots of good conversation on the coaches board as well.

I was looking at a spot in the Great NE, but got beat to the bunch. I plan to jump in with you guys... sounds like you guys have a great developing group, too!

We'd love to have ya!  I would recommend Emory.  (For reasons stated above)  We play against quite a bit of the Great NE guys too.  They seem like a cool group, definitely know how to coach.  But we have some solid coaches too and hope to give them stiffer competition for conference RPI bragging rights... which doesn't really mean anything.  What really helps is tournament success - which increases conference recruiting $$$.

Grabbed the vacant Emory position. Hope a few others join in and fill up the league!
