Not for nothing but have you guys found that once you're considered by non-North American internationals people don't jump in?  Just wondering....

Just depends on the quality of the player.  With Duke in Tark, I've seen plenty of times where teams have jumped on international recruits with another team already considering them.  Could be that you've been on the luck's good side so far.....

Really?  I assumed it was to expensive.

It also probably that I am not recruiting guys worth fighting over......

A little bit of both. Without FSS, people have no idea whether the player is tight or open to other offers. It's expensive too, and the current international you have considering you is rated 521. I have seen alot of battles over international players rated in the 600s-700s.

top level guys - sure... low level ones not so much... too much risk cost wise and potential wise

If youre not in the ACC and recruiting a top flight international; you can be failry certain that at some point one of the ACC coaches will appear and take the recruit...If youre in the ACC you should be good to go...Its seems in Naismith and Phelan (atleast) they have so much more money than everyone else that they recruit with complete disregard for other conferenes (and who could blame them?).

I just poached a 5 star international recruit in Wooden.  I've done it a few times before.  I think it's easier than poaching a domestic recruit.  So much of this game is mental.  Oftentimes, a coach will get an international recruit to consider them with minimal effort because there is no FSS.  It's extremely expensive to shore up an international recruit to *very tight*.  That means most international recruits are "wide open" for others to poach.  If you see a coach in some heated battles, the international may be the best guy to poach.  Why?  Because when a coach is fighting multiple battles, he has to choose which battles to fight and the international recruit would be the most expensive battle for him.  So it's very likely that coach won't even bother to fight back.
