Some interesting decisions to make.... MAKE ME A STARTING 5!

I'll give you a few wrinkles to keep into account:

1. SGs are kind of maxed out with the exception of Gray,  who has blue upside in REB and PER, black BH
2. Bigs are kind of maxed out too with the exception of Holland who is still black in REB, ATH, and blue in SPD
3. Recruiting is about to start and I have 100k to work with so I can probably land a starting stud at any position if you think it'd be wise.

you have a lot of tweeners here imo, which may be both a blessing and a curse.  And many of your bigs have just enough of a weakness that you could argue all day about which to start.  It's not a bad team  by any means, just not as clear cut.  If you have an elite JUCO option(s) (i.e. a classic speedy PG with 90/90 BH/PA) really at any position, I'd probably grab him/them and start him.  This would give you great depth and also help you determine your starting lineup.

Barring any new guys, I'd try:

PG - Scala
SG - Rider
SF - Meadow
PF - Hillery (though I'd move him b/w C and PF depending on desired DEF assignments)
C - Reese

You could make a few arguments at most positions with this team, imo.

Thanks guys for taking a crack at this. Not an easy (or quick) assignment.

Surprised two people came up with the same thing but definitely not surprised that it's different from what I was thinking which was:

PG- Scala
SG- Gray
SF- Rider
PF- Hillery
C - Holland

I have too big of a problem with Reese's rebounding to start him at C. I mean, what's the point of good ATH and DEF if you can rebound the ball to finish the play?

PG - Scala
SG - Rider
SF - Meadow
PF - Hillery
C - Preston

I think that lineup makes the most sense. Hillery is a foregone conclusion basically, and preston should do well at C with all that low post. Hes got better IQs than the other bigs too, I just think all around hes the next best big. Alternatively, I could see an argument to start Hillery at C and to put preston or reese at PF. Meadow makes a lot of sense at SF - he simply doesn't have the speed to play guard in d1. His reb/per make him a good choice for sf, though. I guess Scala is obviously the best guard, and has the bh/pass to play PG. Rider is better than Gray and has better IQ, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't want him at SG?

im kind of torn on preston vs reese actually. today, preston at C probably makes the most sense. but by season end, when reese has better IQ, and possibly a little better rebounding, I think he clearly outstrips preston. i was thinking you needed the help on offense, to have preston at C - but really i think your offense is ok, no world beaters, but they can all contribute (the other 4 starters). so i'd either go hillery/preston and switch maybe half way through the regular season, or just go reese/hillery the whole way. i think you would want hillery at C in that case, due to having better reb and lp.
