So, for the first time, I went with a more conservative approach. I (mostly) avoided battles and concentrated my efforts on identifying and waiting for dropdowns instead of pulling anyone down. I got (mostly) what I wanted, but now I can't really judge the overall quality of the class, so I am hoping for some feedback.

Blue underline bold means high-high potential.
Green bold means unknown high (low-high or high-high).
Red italics is low.
Normal is average.
Thanks!

Overall, looks to be a very good class. Solid players all around with a few potential stars.

That begs the question, how on earth were you able to get Pickett as a dropdown, without battling? He's by far the gem of this class.

Don't like the two guys with WE of 18 and 13. Not goign to improve much. Especially Guilot, 63 STA *might* get to 70 by time he's a junior, same as his SPD might get to 22. But he can play minutes as a rebounder and defender right away.

Overall, its solid, Child will be a stud if you can get his ATH/SPD up higher.

yeah, pickett should be a stud

Yah, people probably bypassed due to his low initial PE - I wouldn't mind grabbing him for D2 and dropping a RS on him with that 69 WE and all those high-highs.  He'll be a stud in D3

Interestingly enough, Pickett was not a dropdown for me. I was able to recruit him from day 1. My prestige has dropped (to A-) but is still decent, and he was only 10 miles from me so I got lucky there. I agree he is the gem of the class.

Child was a "battle" in that there was another team (D2) who he was considering, but that D2 team had only one opening and a better player considering only him, so I just had to put enough into Child to hold him off until he signed the other guy.

One concern is that, Pickett's PER or Carini's LP are HUGE, there isn't really a first-class scorer in the bunch. I have no seniors this year, so in the season after my now-juniors graduate, these guys will be my only upperclassmen. I'll have to concentrate on a big scorer the year after next but I'd still have preferred more balanced options.

Pretty good, certainly, especially given the FT%, but I'm not sure he's top-flight enough to carry a team deep into the NT.

You're right, Guilot may never reach his full potential with that WE, but I needed depth on the front line and (as you also mentioned) he can play and just be big (rebound and block a few shots) from day one.

Child I am hoping for similar, albeit slightly better, numbers.

Pickett is an unbelievable get. Good work. I wouldn't worry about his scoring long term. He'll be ready to score plenty in year 2, at a very high level in year 3 and at an elite level in year 4. Year 5, if you RS him, I shudder to think about what he'll do when he's maxed!

20 games in, Pickett crossed over into black from blue in a lot of categories, so while he should still be very good, I have a better idea of his ceiling.

Hall, though, has picked up 11 in speed, 11 in BH, and 9 in passing, while still holding High potential in all 3. He's got (unknown) high in PE too, so he could end up being a good scorer for me.
