Greatest DIII Conference Topic

I have an opening in the greatest DIII conference of all time.

If you are a great coach and want to prove it, sitemail me and i'll give you info.

in 55 seasons this conference has had almost no sim coached teams.
our conference RPI is always around .6000
we usually send around 7 teams to the NT
this season we are pacing to send 10 to the dance

if you stick around for four seasons, i'll throw in the fifth for free
if you have the best record in the conference (in your fourth season) i'll make it $50 (instead of $13)

again, sitemail me for details. . . .

"You" have an opening in the greatest D3 conference of all time?  Did we start privatizing conferences and I missed the memo?

False advertising at it's finest. The So. Cal in Knight is the best D3 conference of all time, D1 coaches drop down to be a part of it. I have no problem if you say the 2nd best, however.

dcy, have you not been invited to a private conference yet? I'm surprised. I'm in one with plumpy, lostmyth and vegaskevin (we needed a whipping boy), I'll let you know the next time there's an opening. I generally send out the bat signal a few minutes after games have simmed, so it requires staying up late. And a password, of course.

hey girt.  i've put out this challenge a few times.  when i do it on my other user name a coach will nab the team without going through the application process.  so i 'like to keep things hush hush

btw, i took over plumpy's team and smacked around your barton team for a few seasons. . .

I just finished a season of Madden going 16-0, winning the superbowl, and winning  by a margin of 43 points per game. . .
oh, it was on the easiest level though. . .

not everything is as it seems. . . knight barely has 100 humans in it,  tough accomplishment.

i guess that narrows down the world we're in (for those trying to figure it out).  there's only two DIII worlds with a large amount of human coached teams.  and ours is the toughest.  winning in this world/conference makes you a man.

Private conferences in DIII are the funniest - you do realize that if a returning coach doesn't fill it, the only thing stopping my CAT from being accepted as coach is the fact that I don't have a cat... right?

And Knight SCIAC's the best.  There's a bunch of great ones out there - the ODAC in Tark, the NAC in Allen, of course the Upstate in Wooden... but the Knight SCIAC's the best.

obviously ucla_gfw is from wooden upstate

see thats the difference.  this conference has a 3 page application.  and the whole process takes about 7 days.  And an applicant must go through 3 exhausting interviews.   Thats the protocol for the greatest conference in all the land.  . . . . . only the strongest resumes need apply. . . .

See, that's how I know this is a sham. The mere sight of the Barton team bus pulling up to your gym would make your kids (and usually you) pee their pants.

Well, that, and your cat would have to figure out a way to pay for it.

Filling out the application was a nightmare in itself. I really don't see the need to use the Sherlock Holmes "dancing men" code. But somehow I completed it. The first interview was traumatic. not just because I hate spiders but because trying to remember all the starting lineups of teams from 8-9-10 seasons ago is nearly impossible. I failed during the second interview when I incorrectly named one of the schools cafeteria cooks. I still say that I was right because she never changed her name when she re-married.

It's a very prosperous imaginary cat.

true.  but being that her first marriage was to a woman and in the state of mississippi, the first marriage was never legally binding.  thus her maiden name of Farly was the actual correct answer.  but to give you credit, no one has ever made it that far.  congrats. . .

and to be honest, the application process is purely for our amusement.  we just take the first person to sign up for a team.  unless its tmacfan.  then we SM admin and have him forcibly removed from his team. . .
