The basic premise is that you can only draft players who played for your team at some point. Any player who has all of their WiS seasons with your club are yours without having to draft them (but they must be kept, good or bad.) Let me know if you have any questions on how it works more specifically.

The Twins traded their 1979 First Round Pick away to get Paul Molitor in 1978 but the league rules state that if a new owner takes over a team that does not have a first round pick they will be given one at the end of the first round. So the Twins will have the 25th Pick in the 1979 Draft as well as Pick #2 in every other round. The Twins have players such as SP Mike Morgan, RP Jesse Orosco and others available in 1979. Trading of Draft Picks is very active, so if you want to trade up to get Morgan or Orosco or anyone else you will most likely have alot of oppurtunites to trade up.
