Looking for Creative Coaches! Topic

In Crum, the Horizon league is looking for creative, competitive, program building coaches! This is a growing league that is set on building the best NON Big 6 Conference in Crum. In three years the Horizon has gone from one human coach to FIVE!!! We need a few more good men (or women) to come and blaze the path with us! Do you have it in you? Come find out!!!

Awesome, Weena! Looks like you know your way around HD. Welcome aboard!

I will consider it. Will most of the conference coaches, agree to not schedule more than one non-conference game that they probably wont win? I want to help make a Mid Major Conference better than a Big 6 Conference. But you  have to have some coaches that will put major effort into finding teams that they can beat. That is first priority. Secondly priority is from that group of teams, schedule the teams that are most likely to post a winning season.

Get everyone on board with that and I will be glad to join.

Hey Weena, who did you reserve?  I'm moving up in Crum this year, and I think will be qualified for most of the jobs out there.

Edit:  Non-big 6 jobs out there

Scheduling can be talked about and a strategy can be agreed upon. I started this Horizon mess with Butler where I was the sole human coach a few years back. Right now with all the SIM's killing our RPI we are having to try a schedule up in the Non-Conference to help the RPI not completely tank. Click on my Butler squad and my schedule for next year, I don't believe I have any certain L's but I have some tough games. Once we have more human coaches and I don't have to build RPI early I can control my schedule the way you suggest going forward.

Take a leap a faith, come have fun with us!

Oh and WEENA is beyond a legend he was a better get than Pujols by the Angels!

I'm going back to Belmont. I coached them back in the Dark Ages* of HD.and I hope to bring them back to the NT once again.

Dark Ages = The days before many of the current game features were added. For example:

There was no NBA Draft
There were no International Players
There were no Ineligible players
There was no setting your own Non-Conference schedule
There was no option for individual LP/Per settings. It was just called Shooting.
There was no limit to carryover money (currently 25% if all scholies are filled)
There were no budget caps limiting recruiting cash to the maximum of 6 players
There were no halftime adjustment options
There was no impact to carrying more than one walk-on
Tempo was displayed as part of your opponents info

I'm 21 going on 22.  That list sounds like something my father says to me when he explains life "before the internet"

I played the first season of HD...I remember it taking forever to start up...we signed up in Feb 2004 and we started playing in May 2004?

Best game on the site though, hands down...one of the best sports text games of all time
