Best Ona a Day D3? Topic

What is the best world for D3? I want to pick up a third team and stay at D3, so that I can have one team at all levels (Hopefully, I can get to D1 in Rupp). What world should I join for a great D3?

Wooden.  No question in my mind.

Wooden and it's really not even close. You have 4-5 conferences that are full year in and year out. The best D3 conference in all of HD in the Upstate, and 4 super conferences that compete in an annual competition.

Recruiting in the Midwest in D3 Wooden one of the hardest things to do well in in HD. The majority of the super conferences and super teams are all within a 3 or 4 state area.

It's:

Wooden

Naismith

I have to agree with my fellow Woodenites above. Wooden is certainly the best D3 world out there.

Naismith is pretty good, with 4 full conf and 1 conf with 10 coaches.

A few of us just joined basically an empty New Jersey Conference in D3 Wooden a season ago and are looking to add coaches for the long-term.  We have just 4 of us now but still have the 8th highest conference RPI.  Come check us out!

I'm in D3 Naismith in a full conference and I love it. Great competition.

wooden DIII where its at.  Naismith is also tough.

those are the two "most full" worlds out there.  not anything else close.

Okay, Wooden it is. Now, I looked at D'Youville, but is Ohio Northern or Kalamazoo open in Wooden? How are their conferences? If it weren't for those two schools, I'd sign up at D'Youville right now...

Kalamazoo is already taken,  but Ohio Northern isn't.  However, the Ohio conference only has 2 other coaches in it right now, so you'd be the 3rd.  Over in the NJ Conf., you'd be the 5th.  Also, I'm not exactly sure of the criteria you're looking for, but it seems like a bunch of graduating seniors and/or current walkons may be high on that list.  If that's the case, Rutgers at Newark (also in the NJC) could also interest you, as they have 7 seniors leaving after this season and a some decent players returning.  Feel free to sitemail me so we can close this deal!
