I am in the hospital now, and things weren't (aren't) anywhere nearly as bad as I was led to believe the side effects might be. I was given two "lethal" doses of chemo, and my stem cells were re-introduced this AM. I am feeling a bit nauseous and gassy, but otherwise, no worse than one might feel after a night of heavy drinking. I will admit I was frightened of what I might have to go thru, but it has been much easier than I was prepared for. Thanks again to all of you, for your well wishes prayers, gifts, and friendship. It really means, and meant, a lot.

Hang in there pfattkatt. We are glad it is not as bad a process to go through as feared. Apparently some of the treatments these days aren't as hard to take as in even the recent past - both my folks - and they are both old, were treated for cancer this past year, are both fine now and said the treatment was not bad at all.
